Dissappeared

Taken
Taken, no ransom note
They took a part of my life along
Along a part of my soul is gone
Will I ever hear your voice? Your song?
Taken, no reason found
Uncertainty of what went wrong
If you are alive, if you are dead
The desperation, my I don’t know
Taken, more than one year
Continue searching in the tarot
On the tea leaves, go see a medium
And at the end, all that I got is:
Uncertainty.
This poem is dedicated to all the persons that have been kidnapped in Tamaulipas. The news won't talk about it because they have been silenced. Lots of people are missing; we don't have the exact numbers beacuse we are afraid of retaliation. The worst part is not knowing what happened to them. I specially dedicate this to my friend Perla and my sister who lost their loved ones this way.

I read this simply as a poem, not considering the context. I think it is strong, clean, and somber.
wow you have a way to relay .. another one that was very well written up and interesting
Oh my gosh. My heart really goes out to people who have had people go missing. And the same thing for childen. The statistics for missing children and people is insane.

How sad that in a land where miracles happen the adversary has so clouded men's minds with his lies that acting as Cain did has become a part of their everyday lives. God will prevail. Those "lost" are in His care.
